If it's any consolation, PLD might be walking as well from the Jets. - Alexzanki
Don’t think so!
Jets will sign PLD. Trotz will make sure of that.

As a Kings fan I think they are going to go all in for Chychrun with something like this:
Turcotte drafted 5th overall
Villardi drafted 17th overall
Bjornfort drafted 18th overall
1st round pick
I'll guess it would cost something similar for Laine. Kings can swing a big trade and not destroy the system as they simply have too many prospects. Just at center alone they have
NHL
Kopitar
Danault
Byfield
Lizotte
AHL in no order
Turcotte
Villardi
Kupari
Thomas
Madden
Anderson-Dolan who is not waiver exempt this year
And they also have 8 right handed dmen on the roster so something has to give as on D
Doughty Anderson
Roy Durzi
Walker Bjornfort
with Clarke from the OHL expected to get a realistic shot. |

Walker would have to go back for money reasons. So they can swing a signing for another forward like Forsberg. Laine is a pass on me. All the talent in the world. Im not willing to risk a big trade for what we've seen from him. Rather go after a proven guy like Forsberg.

If you can get Laine, get Laine. He is head and shoulders above Forsberg and especially at this point in their careers.
With the centers you have Laine will thrive. |

Maybe. He isnt head and shoulders above Forsberg. Forsberg is a 200ft player. I really like Laine. Just not at the cost and risk. |

Although I was off on their draft positions in my defense it was 4am when I complied it. I myself would not give AZ 4 #1 picks for Chychrun, I think with his injury problems it would be a trade similar to when the Rangers got Barry Beck(my fav all time player)but they gave up 5 to get him and although he wasn't a total bust he was often hurt. I'd rather swing on a trade for Laine, depending on what we gave up Kopitar dishing to him and Kempe is appealing and in a few years hopefully Byfield dishing. |
